SHALIGRAM BHAGWAAN - SUDARSHAN SHALIGRAM (ORIGINAL FROM GANDAK RIVER, NEPAL):

Shaligram is a black stone brought from Gandaki river in Nepal. It is most revered stone worshipped by Vishnu Bhakts.

It is considered that Shaligram stones were formed millions of years ago when Himalayas were still the ocean's floor.

They are worshipped in temples and families all over the world, as they are considered to be the visual representation of God Vishnu. It is highly auspicious to worship Shaligram ji in religious functions like Satyanarayan Puja, house warming (Griha Pravesh),marriages and other pujas and holy occasions.

This is a Sudarshan Shaligram. This shaligram represents Sudarshan Chakra which is the weapon of Lord Vishnu as it has similar markings on it.
