SHALIGRAM BHAGWAAN - SANTAAN GOPAL SHALIGRAM (ORIGINAL FROM GANDAK RIVER, NEPAL):

shaligram is a black stone brought from Gandaki river in Nepal. It is most revered stone worshipped by Vishnu Bhakts.

It is considered that Shaligram stones were formed millions of years ago when Himalayas were still the ocean's floor.

They are worshipped in temples and families all over the world, as they are considered to be the visual representation of God Vishnu. It is highly auspicious to worship Shaligram ji in religious functions like Satyanarayan Puja, house warming (Griha Pravesh),marriages and other pujas and holy occasions.

This is a Santaan Gopal Shaligram. This is a smaller piece of Shaligram as it represents child form of Lord Krishna - the reincarnation of Lord Vishnu.
